Formula Student Powertrain

This is a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering dissertaion facilitated by Newcastle Racing, Newcastle University’s Formula Student Team. It incorporated the entire design process from background research, specification, and conceptualisation, through to 3D modelling, FEA validation, and finally protoyping. This project took over 370+ hours and involved the Newcastle Gear Design Unit and the Newcastle University School of Engineering technician team to complete.
